Low Cost Community Acupuncture in Hillcrest

Hillcrest Community Acupuncture is now open in Hillcrest. At the clinic, patients are treated in a relaxing open area by a licensed acupuncturist. The group setting allows affordable, personalized care to multiple patients per hour. “The community acupuncture business model is rooted in a value system that puts community first,” says owner Sacha Landreneau, LAc.

“People should be able to access acupuncture, if they want it. Often, if they need it, community acupuncture makes that possible for many people.” According to Landreneau, in Asia, acupuncture treatments occur in community, group settings. “The communal style of treatments has many benefits. Friends and family can be treated together,” she says. “Some report feeling less nervous and safer when they see others relaxing and often sleeping while receiving acupuncture. Additionally, there is a collective energy when people are healing together, thus making individualized treatments more powerful.”

Acupuncture is proven effective in the treatment of pain, addictions, stress, anxiety, and much more, according to the World Health Organization and the National Institutes of Health.
