PrintEducational Tours at Seabreeze Organic Farm
Seabreeze Organic Farm, a coastal farm near North County and San Diego schools, is offering year-round educational farm tours to the public. Participants will learn about the importance of knowing where food comes from and how food is grown for customers of the Farm’s community supported agriculture (CSA) initiative. Attendees are invited to walk the farm and view vertical growing and permaculture installations and traditional growing techniques that produce a maximum yield and sustain the farm and its CSA subscribers.
Children are welcome and can enjoy the stimulation provided by outdoors activities, nature and the many rescued animals, each of which serves an important purpose at the farm. At just over an hour, the tours offer participants the opportunity to spread knowledge, engage the mind and inspire enthusiasm to save resources and care for the world.
