PrintGreen-Biz Open-Air Mixer
The U.S. Green Chamber Kool Climate Kids and South Bay Region Lions Club SD Brotherhood will host a Green-Biz Open-Air Mixer and South Bay Region Lions Club Meet and Greet from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., September 10, at Embarcadero Marina North Park, in San Diego.
Attendees can enjoy food and refreshments while they meet like-minded people and gather the latest information about how to green businesses, homes and schools and learn about efficient curbside, blue bin and consumer electronic recycling. The family-friendly event includes prizes, a 50/50 raffle and cash drawings.
Proceeds will be donated to the Kool Climate Kids campaign, a neighborhood service program designed to create jobs and safe, clean and green communities. The funds will be used by the Let’s Talk Trash and Kick It 2 the Curb campaign, an ongoing statewide effort aimed at helping low-income and middle-class communities become driving forces of the reuse, reduce, remanufacturer and clean-energy economy.
