28th Annual Encinitas April Street Fair
The Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association (DEMA) presents the 28th annual Encinitas April Street Fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 9-10, on South Coast Highway, between D and J streets. The free event features more than 450 food, arts and crafts vendors; five live music stages; children’s rides; and the Beer Garden Stage.
Ten bands, solo artists and performers will take the stages each day, including Rhythm Method, Shoreline Rootz, The Bozzani Brothers and The Bill Magee Blues Band. The audience can enjoy a beer from Stone Brewing Company or Port Brewing Company while listening to these performers. The fair is expected to draw more than 100,000 shoppers, offering clothing, accessories, plants, household and environmental products, art, antiques and home décor.
Attendees are encouraged to avoid parking congestion by taking the North County Transit District (NCTD) Coaster, which will be running two-for-one fares on both days, as well as special trains on Sunday.
