Local Doctor Receives International Award
Dr. Carolle Jean-Murat has been recognized by the Women’s Information Network for her continuing efforts to strengthen women and families worldwide at the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day.
Paula Fellingham, CEO of the Women’s Information Network, wrote, “Congratulations and thank-you for your kind services and your desire to lighten the loads, strengthen the hearts and improve the lives of those in your circle of influence.”
Previously cited by the mayor of San Diego for her regular free medical service to those in need at places such as St. Vincent de Paul centers and Father Joe’s Villages, Dr. Carolle has been working with her nonprofit, Angels for Haiti, since the recent Haitian earthquake, to repair and restore the homes and lives of the people in the land of her birth.
Dr. Carolle’s Wellness and Retreat Center of San Diego works with individuals who want to get unstuck in any area of their lives and are ready to heal and live the lives they were meant to live.
