DIM and Chrysin Fight Aging in Men

LipoDC, a proprietary blend of diindolylmethane (DIM) and chrysin, is now available as a dietary supplement that can be taken sublingually (under the tongue) to promote anti-aging in men by helping to balance their hormones.
The anti-aging community and doctors practicing preventive medicine have been taking notice of the importance of hormone balancing for men. Andropause (male menopause), erectile dysfunction (ED), prostate cancer, type II diabetes and cardiac risk—all of which may be influenced by hormones—are being researched and studied. Because these conditions develop slowly, the medical community is constantly trying to identify their essential causes and apply countermeasures to interrupt the disease process.
All men produce low levels of estrogen, but as they age, two things can happen: Their testosterone can convert to estrogen, and their increased number of fat cells can begin to produce estrogen. While small amounts of estrogen can positively affect emotional well-being in men, negative effects can occur if the levels become unbalanced.
DIM is a naturally occurring substance found in cruciferous vegetables, such as cabbage and broccoli, that helps the liver metabolize estradiol, the most potent form of estrogen, into a more benign form of the hormone. Chrysin, a bioflavonoid, helps keep testosterone from converting to estrogen. When taken together, DIM and chrysin may help combat the negative effects of excess estrogen and can have a positive impact on men’s health. Neither is absorbed well when taken as a tablet, but LipoDC combines the two ingredients together in a liposome that allows them to be absorbed sublingually for maximum benefits.
