Rotary Fundraiser Benefits Water Conservation Garden

The Rancho San Diego/Spring Valley Rotary Club hosts its fourth annual fundraising event, La Bella Vida Wine and Food Fest, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., October 8, at The Water Conservation Garden, in El Cajon. Guests are invited to meander through the garden to sample fine wine, brews and food from local purveyors, while listening to music from bands spanning a variety of genres. Attire is summer-casual cocktail, and tickets should be purchased in advance.

“The Rancho San Diego/Spring Valley (RSD/SV) Rotary Club is proud to highlight East County businesses, local talent and the important work of the Water Conservation Garden,” says Club Service Director Cheryl Minshew. “Funds raised from the event help support the local and international communities that we serve.”

Founded in 1965, the RSD/SV Rotary Club is a founding sponsor of The Water Conservation Garden, Heritage of the Americas Museum and the Rancho San Diego Branch Library. Since 1999, The Water Conservation Garden has educated San Diegans about conserving water and related natural resources and will be among the recipients of funds generated from the event.
