Jingle Paws Walk for Pets

Oct 24, 2011 08:15PM

The El Cajon Animal Center for education and Services (ACES) Foundation is hosting a Jingle Paws Walk for Pets from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., November 19, at Wells Park, in El Cajon. Participants can stroll around the park with their pets during the event, which benefits the El Cajon Animal Shelter, and enjoy animal games, an agility course, a hay bale maze, photos with Santa and other family-centered activities. Animal lovers, owners and enthusiasts are encouraged to come out and support this cause, with or without an animal companion.

ACES Foundation is a non-profit organization formed to help the shelter with expenses that may not be covered by the city of El Cajon. ACES has covered surgeries for the shelter’s injured animals so that they can be adopted into a forever home.

Cost: $25 ($30 after Nov. 1) or $50 ($55 after Nov. 1). Walkers that preregister receive a Continental breakfast and photo with Santa. Location: 1153 E. Madison Ave. For more information or to register, email [email protected] or visit ACESFoundation.org.
