Natural Awakenings San Diego

January 2012 Publisher Letter

We love our pets and their health is as important to us as our kids’ health. Products and services offered to better the well-being of our pets are forever evolving and improving.  As San Diegans, we live in a community that is pet-abundant and pet-friendly.

My passion as the publisher is to deliver you information about the latest and greatest products and services available to you and your pet, while encouraging you to check out resources available on the Internet, including our website at na-sd.com. This is why we are especially glad to receive some local article submissions.  We have provided editorial to educate you on fun, healthy and positive ways to interact with your pets. And, since pet nutrition is as big a topic as children’s nutrition, we all want to be sure our pets are fed the proper toxin-free foods.

Products and services are coming to us at an increasingly rapid rate, as exemplified in our community spotlight article about our local San Diego Pet Food Delivery. They will deliver quality products right to your front door! Convenience is welcomed and needed in our busy lives. After all, we want to spend more time with our pets so they are not home alone as often. However, reality speaks and we know that our pets are left solo at times. We’ve included articles to help you with pet loss and holistic coping tools for pets “home alone.” Discover new products such as an innovative retracting leash and learn new tips on positive reinforcement from our Roving Reporter, dog psychologist and trainer Linda Michaels.

We welcome you all to promote, educate and distribute our Natural Pet magazines to all of San Diego and nationally. We try to be at all the pet-related events. You will find our natural pet publication distributed alongside our monthly Natural Awakenings issue. Please share our digital version with your pet-loving friends,  visit our website and sign up for free newsletters at www.na-sd.com.Thank you for supporting our publication, our advertisers and our pets. Let’s keep our pets healthy and happy the natural way!
