On Saturday, April 28 at 2 p.m., all are invited to the dog-friendly patio at St. Germaine’s Café & Bistro in Encinitas to learn “Home Cooking for your Dog” and “Gentle Grooming Tips.”

“Home-Cooking for your Dog” is a cooking class presentation with Foxy Treats creator, Tasha Ardalan. During this demonstration, Ardalan will discuss organic versus conventional foods, the terms “natural” and “GMO”, and what’s really in commercial pet foods. She’ll detail some super foods for both you and your pet and cover meal planning for “raw” diets for your pet.

Awesome Doggies premier mobile grooming salon will bring their salon on wheels for a gentle grooming demonstration. Attendees will learn the best grooming techniques for their pet’s coat type, brushing techniques, getting the most from a session with a professional groomer, at-home grooming, and much more.

This San Diego Positive Pet Professionals event, sponsored by Linda Michaels, Dog Trainer Victoria Stilwell, and Pupologie Pet Boutique, will benefit the fund for the Care of Indigent Animals.

Cost: Free admission with purchase of lunch. Location: 1010 South Coast Highway, Encinitas, CA. For more information visit FoxyTreats.com or AwesomeDoggies.com.
