Dr. T Offers New Health Lecture Series
Mar 29, 2012 09:29AM
Dr. Adiel Tel-Oren, known as Dr. T, returns to the San Diego area for another eye-opening lecture series focused on health and well-being. He will discuss “The Truth about Protein: The Facts May Surprise You,” examining claims by the meat and dairy industry that are continuously advising consumers to eat more protein for optimal health, from 7 to 9 p.m., April 23, in Carlsbad.
On April 25, from 7 to 9 p.m., Dr. T will present a second lecture, in San Diego, on “Mental Health: Combating Mood Disorders.” Here he examines the causes of anxiety, depression and other cognitive dysfunctions and explores how they can be addressed through nutritional and scientifically based modalities that avoid the side effects of prescription drugs.
Dedicated to educating audiences to take individual ownership of their health and well-being, rather than giving away this responsibility to doctors and insurance companies, Dr. T provides lecture attendees with information about how to be discerning clients of the health care industry. He is also the founder and co-founder of several nonprofit health and sustainability programs worldwide (visit Ecopolitan.com).
In addition to his lectures, Dr. T will see local clients for his safe, gentle, non-medical, non-surgical and aesthetically pleasing method of eliminating skin tags, moles and skin lesions. Appointments for a free initial consultation can be made on his website www.doctorTevents.com.
Cost for each lecture: $10, advance tickets; $15 at the door. Locations: Monday, April 23 at 2004 Subida Terrace, Carlsbad; Wednesday, April 25 at LotusRain Naturopathic Clinic, 5210 Balboa Ave., Ste. F, San Diego.
