Talk to the Animals
On Saturday, June 9 from noon to 4 p.m., Dexter’s Deli presents “Talk to the Animals,” a panel presentation and pet communication event. During the free panel discussion from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., local animal communicators Paula Brown, Jerri Carroll, Sue Goodrich, Lisa Larson and Gina Palmer will tell their favorite stories and discuss how they do their work. Attendees will also learn how to become more in tune with their own animals and learn to communicate with them.
The fun continues from 2 to 4 p.m. with quick, 10 minute one-on-one sessions with these well-respected practitioners offered for only $30. Participants may bring their well-behaved pet, though a printed photograph is preferred. A limited number of openings will be available so advance reservations are recommended.
Proceeds will benefit SPOT (Saving Pets One at a Time), based in Oceanside, California. SPOT is an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit advocating for homeless dogs and cats in the North County area who are at risk of euthanasia.
