Encinitas Holiday Parade
Nov 30, 2016 09:07PM
Thousands of people will be on floats and in bands with many more cheering them on as the Encinitas Holiday Parade rolls along Coast Highway 101 on December 3 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. This year’s parade theme is Encinitas86 in honor of Encinitas celebrating 30 years since becoming a city in 1986.
The North County Eco Alliance (NCEA) is excited to participate again in the holiday parade. The theme for NCEA is 30 Years of Sustainability. The Alliance invites all parade-goers to be on the lookout for their electric vehicle featuring a 6-foot lighted Earth globe.
The parade is preceded by a 5 p.m. tree lighting ceremony which includes an appearance by Santa at the Lumberyard. Free shuttle service is available.
