Can Cannabis Help Me and My Friends?

Mankind Dispensary’s Community Outreach Director, Cathy Bliss, wants to help everyone in our community answer this question. “Please reach out to me,” she says. “If you are a member of a support group for MS, autism, pain, arthritis, etcetera, please email me an invitation and I will come and answer questions and explain some of the new terms like "terpenes" and THCa. What does it mean when the tincture bottle says 18:1 or 4:1 and how will this affect me?”
The staff at Mankind Dispensary, a legally licensed dispensary in San Diego, believes that cannabis education is one of the most important aspects of their business. “We want everybody to be aware of the many ways that cannabis can help improve their lives,” affirms Bliss. “Invite a group of your cannabis curious friends together, whether you’re at a housing complex, a senior home or wherever, and we can have a good conversation on how cannabis might relieve your pain, help your mood, allow you to be able to exercise, and much more.”
Bliss explains that many people she speaks to often share their concerns about the psychoactive effects of THC. “This topic comes up often. I am so excited when I can share that there are many CBD-only products, including a wide variety of topicals, that have no psychotropic effects and provide a great deal of relief. In the legal shops, like Mankind, every product is lab-tested so you know how much THC and CBD are in the product and that no pesticides, mold or harmful chemicals were found.”
Mankind also enjoys supporting the community in other ways. “In fact, we just sponsored a team in a fundraiser for Therapeutic Recreational Services which helps people with disabilities. Let us know if you have any more ideas on how we can help you and our wonderful community,” adds Bliss.
