29th Annual Earth Day Fair in Balboa Park

We’re All in This Together is the theme for the 29th Annual Earth Day Fair being held April 22 on the Central Mesa in Balboa Park. This festive, family-friendly event features an Earth Day Parade with civil rights icon Dolores Huerta as Grand Marshall, Art Mural Wall, Kid’s Area, Cannabis Village, Reuse and Repair Area, eARTh Gallery, Cleaner Car Concourse, and four stages of live entertainment.

       Attendees will get a chance to see impressionist artist Michael Richard Rosenblatt paint during the event at the Art Mural Wall.

       “Use our online exhibit-finder to search at and find the exhibit locations of most interest to you,” invites Carolyn Chase, a volunteer with event producer, San Diego EarthWorks. “We also invite you to take public transit on Earth Day. Find your route on and bring your bike for free bike parking in two locations.
