Santa Claus is coming to Cardiff-by-the-Sea

Cardiff 101 Main Street presents the 9th annual Kringle Mingle Holiday Celebration being held December 3 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the North Courtyard of Cardiff Town Center in Cardiff-by-the-Sea.

This festive holiday event features a visit by Santa in his vintage “Camera Camper” sleigh sponsored by Cal Coast Credit Union. There will also be a children’s craft pavilion hosted by Lux Art Institute and live musical performances by kid favorite bands Hullabaloo, Bucket Ruckus and Back to Rock Encinitas teachers and students.

Attendees can feast on savory soup from Rimel’s, scrumptious holiday treats including Yummy Cupcakes, and Sambazon acai bowls. Hot coffee from Pappalecco, hot chocolate for the kiddos from Cardiff 101 and fresh water from the Mizu hydration station will also be offered. In addition, a special holiday brew and the Cardiff 101 Hoppy Wheat beer to benefit Cardiff 101 Main Street will be served by Lost Abbey Confessional to spike up the spirit.

For the big finale, Supervisor Kristin Gaspar will be flipping the switch at 5 p.m. for the festive tree lighting ceremony supported by Teresa and Don Barth.

In addition, minglers will have a chance to win one of Cardiff 101’s Kringle Mingle holiday gift baskets worth over $700 each. Enter the drawings by shopping, dining or receiving a service on Small Business Saturday being held November 25, December 2 and 3 at Cardiff’s local participating businesses. Shoppers will receive an entry ticket for every receipt.
