New Dates for Eight-week Stress Reduction Course

Please note that Julie Chippendale’s upcoming Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course mentioned in last month’s issue will now be held on Monday evenings from 6 to 8:30 p.m. April 2 to May 21 at Scripps Encinitas Hospital.

       Julie Chippendale, RN, BSN, is a certified yoga instructor and mindfulness teacher. The eight-week course is geared toward those interested in being an active participant in changing their health while achieving a greater sense of well-being. “Participants report living more in the present moment and find it easier to plan for the future without living in the future as well as understanding the past without dwelling on the past,” she says.
