Gentle Manual Therapy in Solana Beach

Deborah Ortiz, CMT, founder of Inherent Wellness in Solana Beach, practices CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation, two forms of gentle manual therapy. “In our high-demand, modern lives, the nervous system can be quickly overloaded, which creates imbalance in many ways, including headaches, digestive issues, insomnia, fatigue, hormone imbalance, chronic neck and back pain, as well as anxiety,” she says.

Ortiz’s work encourages the movement and health of the body and facilitates its parasympathetic response to stress, allowing for deep restoration. “CranioSacral Therapy works directly with the central nervous system and addresses restrictions of the spine, head bones and sacrum. Visceral Manipulation evaluates the organs and facilitates proper function, movement and digestive health,” she says.

“The body responds incredibly well to this work because it encourages its natural resilience rather than being a quick fix,” affirms Ortiz, who believes that more people than ever are ready to be educated on more holistic approaches to their health and well-being.”

Inherent Wellness is located at 243 N. Hwy. 101, Ste. 13 in Solana Beach. For more information, call 619-218-2333 or visit CranialWellness.com.
